Meanwhile, Western Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 54-25 loss at the hands of Tri-West Hendricks.
Western Boone's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emmerson Gott, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, and Ally Lewis, who scored eight points in addition to nine rebounds.
Western Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Faith Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Everything went Faith Christian's way against Western Boone in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Faith Christian made off with a 62-37 win.
