Football Game Preview: Central Bucks West Bucks vs. Pennridge Rams

Central Bucks West has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Pennridge has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bucks will welcome the Rams at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Central Bucks West 14.9, Pennridge 13) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Friday, Central Bucks West earned a 17-7 win over Pennsbury. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bucks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Falcons are ranked 185th).

Meanwhile, Pennridge hadn't done well against Neshaminy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Rams walked away with a 14-7 victory over the Skins. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Rams were the (much) better team in the second half.

Central Bucks West better keep an eye on William Dougherty. He was instrumental in Pennridge's win, rushing for 101 yards and one TD.

Pennridge's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Central Bucks West, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
