Volleyball Recap: Union County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Cedar Grove

There's no place like home for Union County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cedar Grove Saints by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Union County was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-3.

Union County found their leader in freshman Kamryn Brown, who had 17 assists and eight aces. With that strong performance, Brown is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Union County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matches.

Union County's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Cedar Grove, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.

Union County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lumpkin County on the 20th. As for Cedar Grove, they will host Newton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
