There's no place like home for McGavock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Overton Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

McGavock never let Overton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-13.

Cailyn Ekberg paced McGavock's offense, picking up eight kills. Ekberg got some help from Ali Haskins-Morgan and her 22 assists. Ekberg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

McGavock's win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Coming up, McGavock will square off against Cane Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Overton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Stratford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
