Softball Recap: Antelope Valley Takes a Loss

Antelope Valley lost against Rosamond back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Antelope Valley Antelopes lost 24-5 to the Rosamond Roadrunners. The Antelopes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Antelope Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yunnuen Noriega, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Dana Acosta, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Even though they lost, Antelope Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Antelope Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope Valley will welcome Palmdale Academy Charter School at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosamond, they will be playing at home against Knight at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
