Soccer Recap: Presbyterian Christian Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson Academy, Presbyterian Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots a 1-0 shutout. The Bobcats' winning goal came courtesy of Preston Sackler.

Presbyterian Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jackson Prep the next time they take the pitch. Presbyterian Christian will host Jackson Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while Madison-Ridgeland Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
