Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans vs. Hobgood Charter Raiders

Having just played yesterday, the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Hobgood Charter Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hobgood Charter took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, who comes in off a win.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy and Rocky Mount Prep, and Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy kept the tradition alive. The Trojans came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 52-42 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 12-12 at halftime, Hobgood Charter was not quite Rocky Mount Prep's equal in the second half on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the Jaguars.

Hobgood Charter now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy skirted past Hobgood Charter 41-38 in their previous matchup last Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
