Baseball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton managed to slip by Paris the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Greendevils lost 13-3 to the Greyhounds on Saturday.

Dayton has also been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 19 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-27-1 record this season. As for Paris, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dayton will challenge Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paris, they will take on Harrison County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thorobreds/Fillies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Greyhounds' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
