Baseball Recap: Bellevue West Thunderbirds vs. Omaha South Packers

Bellevue West can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Omaha South Packers as the Bellevue West Thunderbirds made off with a 10-4 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bellevue West also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Bellevue West got a great performance from Brayden Woodard as he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Woodard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Nick Glantz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Drew Grego, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
