Baseball Game Preview: Crivitz Wolverines vs. Coleman Cougars

The Crivitz Wolverines will face off against the Coleman Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Crivitz 3.3, Coleman 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Crivitz's offense. They came up short against Kewaunee on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Coleman might've scored the first runs last Thursday, but it was Sturgeon Bay who claimed the real prize. The Cougars took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers.

Coleman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Tedtman, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Crivitz's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Coleman, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Crivitz came out on top in a nail-biter against Coleman when the teams last played back in May, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
