Basketball Recap: Wisconsin School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

After flying high against Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf last Saturday, Wisconsin School for the Deaf came back down to earth. The Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds fell just short of the Berean Christian Kingsmen by a score of 27-24 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Firebirds have suffered since December 12, 2023.

Wisconsin School for the Deaf moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Berean Christian, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wisconsin School for the Deaf will take on Mountain Top Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Berean Christian, they will face off against East Moline Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
