Soccer Game Preview: Standing Bear vs. Norris

The Standing Bear Grizzlies will venture away from home to square off against the Norris Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Standing Bear's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Standing Bear's offense. They lost 5-0 to Bennington on Saturday.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Norris after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They came up short against Gretna East, falling 4-1. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Norris struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Addison Greenfield, who's now up to three this season.

Standing Bear's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Norris, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
