Softball Recap: Fayetteville Falls Short Against Ranked Har-Ber

Fayetteville faced Har-Ber in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 12-2 to the Wildcats. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Fayetteville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marley Holthoff, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 15-11-2. As for Har-Ber, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Fayetteville has already played their next matchup, an 11-6 victory against Southside on the 1st. As for Har-Ber, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Rogers Heritage on the 1st.
