The Fighting Blues had just enough and edged out the Governors 1-0 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Blues.

Meanwhile, Craig County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to Staunton River.

Craig County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Parry McCluer, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.

Parry McCluer took their win against Craig County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Blues since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
