Rancocas Valley will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Schalick on Wednesday. Eddie Ruminski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jaylen Alvarez was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Joey Sprague, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Eastern faced Bishop Eustace Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 12-5 to the Crusaders. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Eastern's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5-1. As for Rancocas Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-1.
