Baseball Game Preview: Illiana Christian Vikings vs. Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors

For the second straight game, Illiana Christian will face off against Hammond Bishop Noll. The Vikings will square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Illiana Christian has won 13 straight at home dating back to last season, while Hammond Bishop Noll won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

On Monday, Illiana Christian made easy work of Hammond Bishop Noll and carried off a 10-3 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Illiana Christian got a massive performance out of Jake Scott, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Scott a new career-high. Ayden VanKuiken was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Illiana Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
