Johns Creek extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday, bumping them up to 21-9. Everything went their way against the Milton Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Gladiators: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Johns Creek found their leader in sophomore Evelyn Sinotte, who had nine digs and three assists.

Johns Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in 11 consecutive contests.

As for Milton, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 24-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since October 26, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Milton lost, don't look at Shelby Matteson. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two assists.

Johns Creek and Milton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Gladiators (ranked 29th) will meet Chamblee (ranked 165th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Milton will face off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (28 vs. 132).
