Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 38-25 loss to the Cornerstone Christian Lions.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cornerstone Christian, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin Classical on January 17th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will square off against First Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
