It was a good run, but Columbus Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 55-45 to the Owen-Withee Blackhawks. The Dons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blackhawks earlier this season, when they won 63-50.

Columbus Catholic's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Owen-Withee, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus Catholic will take on Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Owen-Withee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Colby at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Owen-Withee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Colby likes a good challenge.
