Soccer Recap: Paragould Takes a Loss

Paragould came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Valley View Blazers, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Paragould seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Paragould has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-3 record this season. As for Valley View, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3-2.

Paragould wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Greene County Tech on the 22nd. As for Valley View, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Cabot on the 22nd.
