Cedar Bluff entered their tilt with Ohatchee on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Indians 65-23. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Indians are ranked 361st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cedar Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Ohatchee, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cedar Bluff and Appalachian will round out the year against one another at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ohatchee, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wellborn at 5:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
