Granada hadn't done well against Eads recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Granada's got stronger as the match went on, holding Eads to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

Camryn Coleman paced Granada's offense, picking up 13 kills. Coleman got some help from Kinsley Williams and her 31 assists. Dayzriana Quintana controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Granada's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Eads, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Granada will face off against Wiley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eads, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on the 20th.
