Basketball Game Preview: Daleville Broncos vs. Northfield Norsemen

Having just played yesterday, the Daleville Broncos will jump right back in to play the Northfield Norsemen at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Daleville has given up an average of 62 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Daleville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wes-Del, sneaking past 68-66. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since December 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, everything went Northfield's way against Cowan on Friday as Northfield made off with a 56-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Norsemen.

Northfield's win came from a few key players Daleville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carter Rodgers, who shot 56% from the field en route to 16 points. Jake Perney was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win was the third in a row for Daleville, bringing their record for this year to 8-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Northfield, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.
