Lawson Hopkins was his usual excellent self, putting up 21 points for New Hope Academy Regional. The game was Hopkins' third in a row with at least 16 points. Jahmai Dayton was another key player, earning 13 points.

Winston Salem Christian Silver's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for New Hope Academy Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-19 record this season.
