Football Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Seminole was the 41-38 winner over Lake Wales when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seminoles took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders on Friday. The Seminoles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Seminole still got an impressive performance from Anthony Gay III, who rushed for 148 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards.

Kamari Smith produced another solid performance rushing for 226 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 14.1 yards per carry for Lake Wales.

Seminole now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lake Wales, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Seminole didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-21 victory against Lake Brantley on the 26th. As for Lake Wales, they have also already played their next contest, a 54-0 win against Lake Region on the 26th.
