After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hollins, Clearwater Central Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons as Clearwater Central Catholic made off with a 12-5 win. Considering the Marauders have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Clearwater Central Catholic let Bethanny Ortiz and Keeland Moore run wild. Ortiz went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double, while Moore scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was Moore's first of the season. Alexis Rosado was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Clearwater Central Catholic's record is now 5-7. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearwater Central Catholic will face off against Cardinal Mooney at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they will take on Admiral Farragut at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Stephen's Episcopal is facing Admiral Farragut at the right time seeing as Admiral Farragut is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
