Basketball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott lost against Ashdown back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prescott Curley Wolves fell just short of the Ashdown Panthers by a score of 47-45. The Curley Wolves' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Prescott now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Ashdown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prescott will square off against Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prescott is facing Harmony Grove at the right time seeing as Harmony Grove is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Ashdown, they will take on Genoa Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
