Preview: Delaware Valley Friends vs. Pine Forge Academy
Delaware Valley Friends has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against Pine Forge Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Delaware Valley Friends beat Woodlynde 53-42.
It was another big night for Brandon Thomas, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Stockmal, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Pine Forge Academy was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Kimberton Waldorf 80-13 on the road. With Pine Forge Academy ahead 55-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Delaware Valley Friends' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Pine Forge Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
