            Volleyball Recap: Tomahawk Hatchets vs. Marathon Red Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tomahawk can now relate to. They came up short against  the Marathon Red Raiders on Tuesday, falling  3-0. The Hatchets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won  2-1.
 While Tomahawk was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Marathon's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21,  25-22.
 Siennah Calkins paced Tomahawk's offense, picking up 12 kills. Calkins got some help from  Shelby Borowski and her 23 assists. Finally,  Freya Alberg kept Tomahawk's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
Tomahawk has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-18 record  this season. As for Marathon, they now  have a winning record of 14-13.
 Tomahawk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marathon, they will take on Stanley-Boyd at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
