Baseball Recap: Millbrook's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Millbrook waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Jordan Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 9, 2024.

Millbrook saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Thomas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was Thomas' first of the season. Another was Jack Strom, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Millbrook's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jordan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
