Soccer Recap: Hartselle Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jasper last Monday, Hartselle came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Cullman Bearcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cullman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.

With the loss, Hartselle broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-6-3. As for Cullman, their victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartselle will face off against Randolph School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cullman, they will challenge Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
