Recap: Northwest Christian School vs. Reardan
Northwest Christian School had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Reardan on Friday 27-14. Reardan can consider this payback for the 30-33 loss they dealt Northwest Christian School the last time the teams encountered one another.
Northwest Christian School's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 27 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Reardan couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. Northwest Christian School were outperformed in the second half 0-14 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the contest.
Senior Silas Perreiah, who rushed for 197 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in the success. Senior Eli Sander was in the mix, too, providing Northwest Christian School with 2 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Northwest Christian School a 1-0 record and starting Reardan off at 0-1.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Northwest Christian School will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna/Kahlotus at 7:00 PM. Reardan are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Davenport next week at 7:00 PM.
