Basketball Recap: Carl Junction Comes Up Short

Carl Junction suffered their biggest loss since February 29, 2024 on Friday. They lost 67-42 to the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats. The Bulldogs lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in March of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 44-43 score last time.

Carl Junction is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7. As for Logan-Rogersville, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carl Junction will welcome Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carl Junction is facing Hillcrest at the right time seeing as Hillcrest is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Logan-Rogersville, they will host Branson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Logan-Rogersville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
