Lloyd Memorial dropped their record down to 11-9 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 9-2 to the Grant County Braves. The Juggernauts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 10-4.

Lloyd Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Landers, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Grant County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

On Grant County's side, the team relied heavily on Luke Williams, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Williams has posted over his last 12 contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Alexander, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Coming up, Lloyd Memorial will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Carroll County at 4:00 p.m. As for Grant County, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Hills at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
