Volleyball Recap: Southern Wayne Falls to Goldsboro in First Game of Season

Southern Wayne unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Goldsboro Cougars on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Coming up, Southern Wayne will head out to challenge Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goldsboro, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Arendell Parrott Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
