Softball Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County lost against FAMU DRS back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jefferson County Tigers fell 12-8 to the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers.

Jefferson County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for FAMU DRS, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will venture away from home to square off against Wakulla Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for FAMU DRS, they will take on St. John Paul II at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give FAMU DRS their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
