Baseball Recap: Henry County Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Henry County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Centurions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Henry County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Perdue, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Henry County's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While Henry County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
