Football Game Preview: Chester-Seward Hambletonians vs. Highland Huskies

The Chester-Seward Hambletonians will head out to square off against the Highland Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chester-Seward is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Chester-Seward barely beat Spackenkill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hambletonians simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Spartans 40-7. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Hambletonians this season.

Meanwhile, Highland never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against Burke Catholic as they made off with a 23-0 win.

Chester-Seward's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Chester-Seward took their victory against Highland when the teams last played back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 35-12 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hambletonians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
