Softball Preview: Raymore-Peculiar Panthers vs. Blue Springs Wildcats        
        
		
             The Raymore-Peculiar Panthers will take on the Blue Springs Wildcats at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Blue Springs took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Raymore-Peculiar, who comes in off a win.
 Raymore-Peculiar took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Staley  a   9-0 shutout. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight  runs or more this season.
  Reygan Ackley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Ackley was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Zariya Mabion, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  runs. Another player making a difference was  Kelsie Donaldson, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Raymore-Peculiar  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .522. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Blue Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell just short of Lee's Summit by a score of  4-3.
 Raymore-Peculiar's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Blue Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
 Everything went Raymore-Peculiar's way against Blue Springs in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023, as Raymore-Peculiar made off with  a  9-2 victory. Will Raymore-Peculiar repeat their success,  or does  Blue Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
