Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Randolph walked away with it. Everything went their way against the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights on Friday as they made off with a 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win was the seventh in a row for Randolph, bringing their record up to 16-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for NV - Old Tappan, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-2.

Looking ahead, Randolph will take on South Plainfield on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. NV - Old Tappan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
