Softball Recap: Harrisville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Harrisville can now relate to. They came up short against the Hammond Central Red Devils on Monday, falling 12-1. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Harrisville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Hammond Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Harrisville nor Hammond Central have any future games scheduled.
