Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Notre Dame Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Notre Dame fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Oakland Tech on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5. The Pilots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Oakland Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

St. Joseph Notre Dame will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on San Leandro at 4:00 p.m. on April 15. As for Oakland Tech, they will take on Head-Royce in a tournament on Saturday.
