Volleyball Recap: Robert C. Byrd Comes Up Short

Robert C. Byrd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Harrison Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 25-19.

Robert C. Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for South Harrison, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

Looking ahead, Robert C. Byrd will square off against Doddridge County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Harrison, they will take on Petersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
