Basketball Recap: Maranatha Baptist Takes a Loss

Maranatha Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Rock County Christian Eagles, falling 46-17. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Maranatha Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Rock County Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Coming up, Maranatha Baptist will venture away from home to square off against Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th. Wisconsin School for the Deaf's defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Maranatha Baptist's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rock County Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-30 loss against Oakhill Christian on the 13th.
