Soccer Recap: Castle Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Castle can now relate to. They fell just short of the Evansville Harrison Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Castle came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Evansville Harrison are ranked 71st).

Castle's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Evansville Harrison, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season.

Castle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evansville Harrison, they will challenge Evansville North at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Evansville Harrison's defense better be ready for this one: Evansville North have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
