After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Los Angeles, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 win over the Diego Rivera Huskies. This was a revenge game for the Democrats: when they faced off against the Huskies back in January, they had to take a 57-43 defeat.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Diego Rivera, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will square off against Manual Arts at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Diego Rivera, they will challenge Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Los Angeles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Diego Rivera surely won't give up without a fight.
