A Season-Best Performance from Dante Carr Leads Minersville over Nativity BVM
Minersville was led to victory by Dante Carr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Carr rushed for 207 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

Big Game from Carestia As Schuylkill Haven Won 81-6
Niko Carestia's big game helped extend Schuylkill Haven's winning streak to seven on Friday. Carestia was dynamite, rushing for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Carestia could be in store for another big game when he takes on Nativity BVM on Saturday. When Carestia last faced the Green Wave back in September of 2023, he rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns.

Brady Shomper Goes Supernova in Williams Valley Win
Brady Shomper was a major factor in Williams Valley's victory over Marian Catholic on Friday. Shomper was unstoppable, throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 49 yards.
Shomper will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Shenandoah Valley on Friday. The last time Shomper took on the Blue Devils, he rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Colton Reber and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Colton Reber was instrumental in extending Schuylkill Haven's winning streak to seven on Friday. Reber turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 61 yards.
This season, Reber has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 94.1 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 37.88 rushing yards per game.

Hatter Posts Huge Game in 28-14 Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Parker Hatter of Tri-Valley. Hatter picked up 54 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Tri-Valley, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Hatter and Tri-Valley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Minersville at 7:00 p.m.
