Volleyball Recap: Lyons' Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The Lyons Lions earned a 2-0 victory over the Trinity Celtics on Thursday.

Lyons easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-18.

Lyons' win ended a 13-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-25. As for Trinity, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-26-2 record this season.

Lyons wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Larned on the 16th. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
