Preview: North Penn-Liberty Mountie vs. Wyalusing Valley Rams
After two games on the road, North Penn-Liberty is heading back home. They will take on the Wyalusing Valley Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully North Penn-Liberty focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, North Penn-Liberty was beaten by Northeast Bradford 57-30.
Despite the defeat, North Penn-Liberty had strong showings from Daniel Harman, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds, and Louis Mercantino, who scored 8 points. Harman is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Brown, who scored 4 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wyalusing Valley beat Canton 49-43 on Wednesday.
North Penn-Liberty now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wyalusing Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything came up roses for North Penn-Liberty against Wyalusing Valley in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 60-30 win. Does North Penn-Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wyalusing Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
