Chariton is 4-0 against Wayne since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Chariton Chargers will square off against the Wayne Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Chariton will be strutting in after a victory while Wayne will be coming in after a defeat.

Chariton took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 win over Cardinal.

Meanwhile, Wayne came up short against Martensdale-St. Mary's on Tuesday and fell 54-43. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.

Chariton's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Everything came up roses for Chariton against Wayne in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chariton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
